Remove Validator Demo
Practical - remove a PoS validator and claim staking rewards using the Toolbox.
This demo walks you through removing a validator from your Permissionless L1, returning your staked tokens and claiming any earned rewards. The tool handles all phases including the optional delegation fee claim:
- Select - Choose the validator to remove
- Initiate - Start the removal process (with optional uptime proof)
- P-Chain - Sign and submit the weight update to the P-Chain
- Complete - Finalize the removal and receive your stake + rewards
- Claim Fees (Optional) - Claim any accumulated delegation fees
You can only remove a validator after its minimum stake duration has elapsed. Check the time remaining in the PoS Validator Set query.
