Overview

VIA Labs provides Avalanche L1s with Proto-USD, a solution for cross-chain USDC integration. By combining Avalanche's native Interchain Messaging (ICM) with Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP), any Avalanche L1 can receive and use USDC from Ethereum, Base, Solana, and other CCTP-enabled chains.
