About

Agentic AI is the next frontier of on-chain infrastructure - and Africa is building it.
2026 has seen a wave of autonomous agents transacting, settling, and coordinating directly on-chain, with Avalanche’s speed and subnet architecture making it a natural home for agent-native payments and identity. Cohort 3 of Mini Hack 2026 brings that frontier to African builders.
Over three weeks, builders go from agentic systems fundamentals to deployed, on-chain-connected AI agents on Avalanche C-Chain closing out the Mini Hack 2026 series before Team1 Africa moves into incubation.

What builders get

Twice-weekly live virtual sessions (Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8–10 PM EAT) with technical mentors
A structured system - every week ships a hands-on deliverable
An in-person Nights of Code build session at Blockchain Centre Nairobi (August 21)
Direct entry into Team1 Africa’s incubation program for standout builders and teams

Who this is for

Developers curious about AI agents and on-chain automation, builders who want to ship autonomous agentic products, and anyone ready to combine AI with Avalanche’s payment and settlement rails. No prior agentic AI experience required - sessions start from the fundamentals.
This is the final cohort of Mini Hack 2026. Builders who complete it leave with working, deployed code on Avalanche - and a seat at the incubation table.

Participation

Maximum team size: 4 (solo allowed for weekly quests; Nights of Code teams of 2–4)
