About

ETHRome 2026 — Build on Avalanche with Team1

ETHRome brings 40 selected builders to Urbe Hub in Testaccio, Rome, on September 11–13, 2026, for a hackathon focused on AI, finance and privacy. Explore the event (https://www.ethrome.org/).

Team1 joins with an Avalanche workshop, on-site mentoring and $1,000 in bounties for working applications built on Avalanche.

Choose one of two tracks:

  • Stablecoins That Do Real Work - $600
Build a stablecoin application for payments, payroll, treasury, savings or automated settlement. Show a complete user flow with verifiable onchain activity. Prizes: $400 for first place and $200 for second place.
  • Tokenized Assets: Rules to Settlement - $400
Build a prototype for issuing, transferring or settling tokenized assets. Demonstrate how asset rules or transfer policies work alongside payment or settlement logic, using test assets. Prizes: $300 for first place and $100 for second place.

The workshop introduces Team1 and Avalanche, then walks through deploying and interacting with a token on Fuji. Mentors will help teams scope their ideas, work through technical questions and prepare their demos.

Build on Avalanche Fuji C-Chain with test assets. A mainnet deployment or custom L1 is not required. Submit a public repository with clear instructions, a working demo and evidence of your Avalanche integration. Each project may enter one Team1 track.

Judging considers user usefulness and problem clarity (35%), a working end-to-end demo (30%), meaningful Avalanche integration (20%) and product quality and UX (15%).

Explore Avalanche Academy (https://build.avax.network/academy) to prepare, and visit the ETHRome website (https://www.ethrome.org/) for participation details and the event schedule.
